This informative workshop will be a mix of theory and practical activities to give you all the knowledge you need to feel confident about growing your own herbs. It is suitable for complete beginners and those who already have some gardening or growing experience.
We will cover:
- Growing herbs in different settings
- Propagation: growing herbs from scratch
- Organic gardening: How to care for the soil and for your plants using organic methods
- Top tips for keeping your herbs happy and healthy throughout the season
- Harvesting: How and when to harvest a variety of herbs
- Preserving your harvest: Tips on how to process and store the herbs you grow
Tickets include 3-hour in-person workshop, detailed printed handouts and refreshments. You’ll also have freshly sown seeds and herb cuttings to take home.
This workshop takes places outdoors at our garden in Hackney Wick.
