Join us for a special collaboration with Nat from Hackney Herbal and Divya from Fruity Walks. Together they will be showing you the herby and fruity delights of Mabley Green.
You’ll learn about a range of edible and medicinal plants growing in this area. Everything from yarrow and mugwort to medlars and even pepper!!
It’s a great way to connect with the natural world around you, improve your plant and tree identification skills and meet like-minded people.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring whatever you need to feel comfortable, i.e: sun hat, sunglasses, sunscreen if it's sunny or umbrella / raincoat if it's raining. You will receive a reminder a few days before the workshop with the meeting point location - please check your spam or email us if you don’t receive it.
Divya Hariramani Herrero is a modern day urban fruit tree forager and London National Park City Ranger. Divya runs the Fruity Walks Instagram page (@fruitywalks), where she maps fruit trees in the city of London and explores the stories behind these trees, how they arrived, and the people that planted them.
