House of Hackney and Hackney Herbal invite you to the School of Wonder: a free, hands-on, all-access day for the people of Hackney. No experience needed, just curiosity.

Step into the WONDER of the GARDEN and reconnect with the ancient wisdom of plants. This is a chance to experience the plants and processes behind it all, up close and in your hands.

What's on:

🌿 A guided tour of the garden: explore Hackney Herbal's beautiful space and get to know the herbs and botanicals that inspire the WONDER GARDEN range, learning about their unique qualities and uses.

🌿 Make your own natural skin balm: a hands-on workshop with herbs grown in the garden. No experience needed, just curiosity.

🌿 Take home seeds: leave with seeds to plant anywhere.

Entry is completely free. To help us plan and make sure everyone gets a spot, we ask that you register in advance. Spaces are limited - please only book if you intend to come, and we encourage you to book for a friend.

There is also an optional option to donate an amount of your choosing to our charity partner Hackney Foodbank.

WONDER GARDEN is House of Hackney's apothecary collection: a range of organic botanical products rooted in the ancient art of herbalism, designed to reawaken our relationship with the natural world.

This workshop takes place at our garden in Hackney Wick, E9 5LD.
