Growing Your Own Herbs: How to take cuttings

  • Hackney Herbal United Kingdom (map)

Join us for a session on growing your own herbs where you will learn how to propagate plants by taking cuttings. This is one of the most common propagation method for herbs, and a very inexpensive way to start or expand your collection.

We’ll go over the different types of cuttings, the best times of year to take them and how to go about it. You will then have a go at taking your own cuttings to take home.

The class will also include an overview of different propagation methods and on growing herbs in general. It is suitable for complete beginners and those who already have some gardening or growing experience.

Please arrive from 6:00pm for a prompt 6:30pm start. Donation covers all materials, printed handouts and light refreshments.
