Herbs and Biodiversity Talk + Open Garden Afternoon

  • Trowbridge Gardens 1 Trowbridge Road Hackney Wick E9 5LD (map)

As part of Capital Growth's Good To Grow Week, we’ll be hosting an informal talk at the herb garden, and discuss how herbs can massively increase biodiversity and support wildlife.

The talk will cover:

  • the many roles plants can play in a garden

  • how we can have a beneficial environmental impact even when gardening in small urban spaces

  • looking at some specific examples in the garden of both wild and cultivated herbs

The talk will be from 3:00 to 3:30pm in the Herb Garden and then the garden will be open until 5pm, so we can all just hang out with the herbs and fellow nature-lovers. We’ll have a small selection of plants for sale.

There will be plenty of herbal tea, please remember to bring a mug for tea to save on disposable cups.

If you’d like to attend the talk, please RSVP using the form below.
If you’re only coming to the 'open garden afternoon' part of the event, there’s no need to RSVP.
